Peacefort primarily deals in Boiler Quality plates conforming to ASTM A 515/516 Gr. 60/70. These plates are high tensile plates with controlled chemistry and physical properties that facilitate formation. The low carbon equivalent enables good weldability. 

ASTM A 516 is fine grained steel, largely used for cryogenic applications. The fine grain makes it ideal for impact loads, especially at subzero temperatures. ASTM A 515 is coarse grained steel, largely used for high temperature applications, wherein the grain structure allows for reasonable expansion.  However, based on the stress charts, both the specifications can be comfortably interchanged for applications up to 300 Deg. C.   

Today, Peacefort directly procures quality steel from reputed integrated steel mills, such as Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. (JSPL), Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel (AMNS), and Steel Authority of India (SAIL), ensuring consistent quality for our clients. These high tensile plates are ideal for the manufacture of pressure vessels, including boilers, reactors, distillation columns, agitators, dryers, and more.  

At Peacefort, our in-house Ultrasonic Testing facilities enable a high degree of quality control. We also collaborate with leading testing laboratories for Destructive Tests. Our stock includes plates ranging from 6mm to 150mm thickness, procured directly from the mills. All Boiler Quality plates are accompanied with original Mill Test Certificates, which serve as testimony to the genuineness of the plates. The Boiler Quality plates are approved by third-party inspection agencies such as Lloyds Register, Bureau Veritas Inspection Services, SGS India Ltd., TUV Nord, etc., directly at the mill itself. Moreover, our adherence to best practices for over more than 50 years of operation has earned us an admirable level of credibility with inspection agencies as well as our clients.
